Shannon's role in Aviation celebrated

Shannon's role in the history of aviation will be celebrated this weekend as Atlantic Airventure marks the centenary of the first Irishman to take the skies.

"The idea is to chart how aviation has changed through the century and the crucial role Shannon had to play in that.
